Steve Martin & Martin Short -Fabulous!
The show was loved by my spouse and I! I still remember the first time I saw Steve Martin and couldn't stop laughing - he had the arrow through his head. Martin Short was equally memorable as the wedding consultant in Father of the Bride when I first saw him. The two comedians did quite a bit of ranking each other which I didn't think was really very funny. However, the rest of the skits and humor quite made up for it. This show included snippets from the past which the audience loved, as well as a lot of new material. Icing on the cake for me was hearing Steve play the banjo with his band, and the piece the band did on their own. My criteria for a great show is I don't fall asleep (come on, it's night and the lights are low), and I don't want the show to end. This show hit both marks!
The Paramount had great sound and a big screen over the stage where you could see up close what was taking place on stage. It's a beautiful theater. I remember going to the Paramount to see The Graduate back in the day.
